Initial sketches for the website layout. Including the idea of islands, keeping it very minimal to achieve a sense of tranquility and peacefulness.

| Initial home page, with a simple illustration of islands, combined with the band name and album name. Very aesthetically appealing introduction page to welcome viewers further. Initial entry home page, so when viewers click on the first page you get taken here. This has more information on it, such as a menu bar and the progressing islands with links to more stuff. There will also be social media hot keys, and at the bottom are examples of the island link pages, with the island viewable either side of the information in the middle, as the website computer screen is quite wide, so this helps to break the space up. |

| Mobile layouts. A more simplified version of the website, layout taken from looking at my own apps, such as Instagram, Facebook, Yik Yak, WhatsApp etc. Much more simple design, keeping everything at minimal as possible, such as the menu being drop down instead of going across the top in the first few examples, to declutter it. Still incorporating the social media hot keys, as these are important platforms for bands, where they communicate with fans the most. |

Sketching has been very beneficial to get down some ideas, and see how they work on paper as well, if there's enough room for everything, and which ideas look the most aesthetically pleasing and have the best feel to them as well. The next stage will be to start creating the imagery for the website, to see how all the colours will work together and what kind of illustrations work the best, looking sleek but also not detracting from the information when necessary.
