OUGD505 STUDIO BRIEF TWO - PRINTING

Posters:
These are the posters I printed out that will be sent with the guide to companies, so they can show their support of the rainforest to clients and employees. I produced it in English, French and Portuguese as these are the three languages I printed the guide in as well, so it can be sent all over the world and the majority of people will understand hopefully.

Guide:
The guide was printed on the same recycled off white stock as the posters for the content and cover, however the cover was also printed in recycled brown stock and GF Smith's Pistachio green colour as well, so that I can experiment with the colour of the covers to see which works best. I tried a green stock for the cover in the last mock up which was recycled, however I wasn't sure on the colour, and the weight was a lot lighter than the content stock so it seemed odd to have it as a cover. The green stock in this final print is the same weight as the content, so it holds it's own whilst still injecting a bit of colour.

This is just a snippet from a content page, so you can see how the text and imagery works against the recycled stock.
The next stage will be to research what kind of bind method, saddle stitch or staple, is the most environmentally friendly so i can bind and trim it to be all finished.
