For my final outcomes for this brief I have had them printed professionally in the digital print studio, to give them a finished look. For these design sheets I created a 4X7 grid to display my alphabet in, to ensure that the spacing was equal and my letterforms were all correctly aligned. I thought this also gave a sense of organisation to my design boards as well, so they weren't all higgledy piggeldy. When printing my design sheets I used matte A3 paper, as I thought satin paper may detract from my designs when the light shined on it at a certain angle. On my first design sheet and my grids sheet, I wrote a small caption basically explaining my typeface and how I have/haven't used grids in my designs.

This is my typeface design in upper case. |

This is my typeface design in lower case, including a full stop, comma, question mark and exclamation mark. |

I created a Pangram with my typeface to see how it would look in sentence format. |

This is a design sheet showing how grids applied to my typeface. I basically didn't use a grid system, I just traced round Garamond, changing it as I went along. I did use guides to get straight lines when it came to digitalising it however, which is the grids you can see here. All of this is fully explained in the caption at the bottom of this design sheet. |
