Andy Warhol's original Marilyn Monroe
Richard Pettibone reproduced Andy Warhol's Marilyn on a much smaller scale.
Banksy also reproduced Warhol's Marilyn but using Kate Moss as the subject.
Heidi Popovic produced a skulls version of Warhol's Marilyn.

Study Task
Following on from this seminar we had to use magazines, newspapers and any kind of publication available to cut bits from and produce our own piece similar to those shown above, referring to some sort or message of key topic of discussion
This study task and seminar was really interesting and useful for OUGD505 Studio Brief 2, as it gave us a different perspective of things that you could look at for this brief, and also offered the opportunity to be really creative with the cutting and sticking newspaper bits, which is something I wouldn't of thought of doing otherwise, looking in magazines and newspapers for topics of the day to focus on.
