Richard Pettibone reproduced Andy Warhol's Marilyn on a much smaller scale.
Banksy also reproduced Warhol's Marilyn but using Kate Moss as the subject.
Heidi Popovic produced a skulls version of Warhol's Marilyn.
Andy Warhol's flowers. They are only partly his work, as this piece is based off a photograph in book which he took and then produced into a screen print.

Study Task
Following on from this seminar we had to use magazines, newspapers and any kind of publication available to cut bits from and produce our own piece similar to those shown above, referring to some sort or message of key topic of discussion

| This was my piece, relating to a society who over eats and with the growing issue of obesity in adults and children. It also covers the draw of fast food and guilty pleasures, as well as fatalities caused by over eating. I wanted to include text along with images to create a high impact piece. |
This study task and seminar was really interesting and useful for OUGD505 Studio Brief 2, as it gave us a different perspective of things that you could look at for this brief, and also offered the opportunity to be really creative with the cutting and sticking newspaper bits, which is something I wouldn't of thought of doing otherwise, looking in magazines and newspapers for topics of the day to focus on.
