During a recent seminar I was taught on the anatomy of type, and the basics of key terminology I need to know about for this course, which I must employ in my vocabulary throughout this course.
During this seminar I learnt what the difference between a typeface and a font is, what lettering is, and what the descended, baseline and x-height is, to name only a few.
I feel this is key information that will help me progress in this course, and will also aid my designs, showing me different ways of modifying my letterforms in a professional way.
