The Brasil nut tree Brusho has improved massively since the first attempt, as I learnt not to put too much powder down as this created too strong a colour which lost the detail. |

Trumpet Tree Brusho. I wasn't sure whether or not to include a green leafy background, as on the photograph this is part of the plant. However when this green part is applied it just looks forced and doesn't fit well with the orange which is the focus. I tried it with varying levels of green to see which worked the best, and I think with no green looks the most effective, however from a distance it could look like leaves in autumn, but hopefully the outline fixes this. |

Cocoa Tree Brusho added. I had a similar problem to the trumpet tree here, fitting the brown bark around the cocoa. Perhaps another plant should be sued instead. |
I didn't do any Brusho experiments for the 2 reais bank note, as I just decided to go straight for the sugarcane plant, as I thought this would adapt the best to the Brusho powder after the previous experiments with the other plants. Unfortunately I don't have any photographs of the sugarcane before it was screen printed onto.
